As we are intensifying our efforts to bring more regular classes to the Vail area, I am reminded that the students we have in Vail are above average in their physical capabilities. They are used to vigorous workouts. They have taught me so much and Prisca, Charry and I are so lucky to be teaching this level of students who have so much body awareness, physical prowess and who are eager to try new things and improve. This is so exciting and we are looking forward to Nov. 6th with DJ Damianos spinning some great music for Pulse.

Sunday, October 18th, 2009Girl'sNIght Out Media Event
Wednesday, October 7th, 2009We had a great time last night at our NY media event. There were some interesting vendors there like “Play Your Workout.” It is an IPhone application with 500 workouts. Very cool idea. There were representatives from many magazines and news programs, bloggers and some curious onlookers. Dr. Paul Arciero came down from Skidmore College to attend the event. He was so wonderful, expounding on the benefits of Pulse Yoga, using his scientific knowledge that makes it all so very interesting.
Dr. Paul Arciero
Saturday, October 3rd, 2009Dr. Paul Arciero, Associate Professor, Exercise Science, Skidmore College, Fellow American College of Sports Medicine has a great website: www.drpaulsprotocol.com. Dr. Paul attended a Teacher Training that I conducted a few years ago at Haramara Yoga Retreat in Mexico. He subsequently obtained a grant to study the effects of Pulse Yoga along with Functional Resistance Training. The findings are soon to be published in a medical journal. The results can be viewed on our website. We are so blessed to have the expertise and knowledge of Paul and so appreciate his involvement with Pulse Yoga.
